Week 32, day 3

I had some vivid dreams last night. But the most memorable part was about losing my mucus plug. Maybe that’s too much information. But it’s true. It wasn’t too gross. But I remember being in a small town in the middle of nowhere and not really having a way to get ahold of my doctor in order to find out if I was really losing the mucus plug, or if something weird was happening. In the end I decided it decided it was just the mucus plug, and went on with whatever I was doing.

Week 32, day 2, part 2

So tonight, after we were done with all our activities, islipped into my most comfortable pajama pants and a tank top … ultimate comfort. Then I headed downstairs for a load of laundry. When I squatted to unload the dryer, my favorite pajama pants SPLIT! 😦 I remember getting these pants at a fashion bug when I was in the 10th or 11th grade. That means they are 12 or 13 years old. Man! I never thought I’d be so sentimental about a pair of pajama pants. But they were so comfy. And they have been fitting my pregnant body. Unlike Much of my wardrobe. I blame my big pregnant butt for the demise of my my pajama pants. RIP.

Week 32, day 2

It’s been 10 weeks since I last posted. I had a little bit of technical difficulty, got frustrated, stepped away to cool off, and today everything worked. So … great!!!

Since last posting, we’ve had a few more appointments, we’ve met with a daycare provider, two couples that we know have had their babies, and the baby room has come along way. Oh, and I’ve gotten huge!!! 🙂

This week has brought a new heaviness sensation right around my lower abs and pubic bone area. It doesn’t alarm me, but I will be asking the doctor at our next appointment which is Monday.

Last night, the dogs and I went for a walk with our friend Colleen and her 5-week-old son Lucas. It was super nice and I learned so much about newborns just by watching Colleen and Lucas interact. It made me very excited to meet our own little one. I can’t wait.

Week 31, day 5

The dogs are testing out the crib.
